The Cottage offers education and awareness on a number of issues and topics related directly to child abuse and sexual assault.  The Cottage is able to speak to groups about topics ranging from child sexual abuse prevention in both English and Spanish to Bystander Intervention of Sexual Violence.  To learn more about the different topics, please click here. Public Speaking

Protecting Our Children

A child sexual abuse prevention training. The target audience is for parents and caregivers. This training is one hour long. This training incorporates an expert on child sexual abuse to discuss the five steps to keep children safe. Protecting Our Children trainings are typically offered Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5:00-7:00pm virtually.

Social Media Safety

This training is designed to provide education to middle school students on the topics of sexting, cyber bulling, sextortion and social media safety. This training teaches 11-14 year olds ways to stay safe while communicating on the internet.
